Headkandy Extensions Review

My Headkandy Extensions.

If you've bought extensions from the internet before, you'll know the hassle of researching different online companies, looking for reviews, reading blogs, watching youtube reviews, looking for your best hair colour match etc etc. A lot of effort goes into finding your new and improved barnet - well, at least this was my experience. Throughout my hair journey I was bombarded with an extensive variety of hair types and brands, all of which I didn't quite understand... Remy hair, Euro hair, Russian hair?? My head was frazzled. Until finally one day, after hours of trawling the net for information and a ton of youtube videos, I came to the conclusion that the two best brands to buy were A) Foxylocks and B) Headkandy.

After much deliberation, I chose Headkandy. It was a tough call, I was one day away from buying Foxylocks and I had fallen completely in love with the gorgeous Imogen who runs the business and has her own brilliant youtube channel. But, it wasn't meant to be with me and the fox. After a facebook message to a girl who had amazing, down-to-her-ankles hair, enquiring as to whether she wore extensions, she referred me straight to Headkandy, saying she had purchased both FL and HK previously. In the end it came down to her word that Headkandy were slightly better quality (thicker at the ends) and had lasted her over a year, whereas FL had not.

So there you have it, I was sold. I was slightly apprehensive about the hair colour match, as at this point in time I had a medium blonde hair colour with light ashy highlights. However, on the 'Bobby Glam' facebook page (some kind of sister site to Headkandy) I sent her my picture and had my hair matched. I was recommended the 'Paparazzi Highlights' colour, which I ordered with haste. The pricetag was fairly reasonable in my mind for the quality and length of the product (16-18 inches costing approx. 80GBP)

Anyway! Here they are - and may I add, HOW PRETTY?

Overall, I was really impressed with this product. The colours in the hair are multi-tonal, so when I had highlights they matched wonderfully, and now I've bleached my hair they match even better! I had wanted extensions for so long and these were my first set. I've had so many compliments from my friends at school, countless people telling me "If I didn't know you, I'd just think that was your hair" - Some of the less observant boys at my college asked me if my hair had grown! These have boosted my confidence endless amounts and make me feel very glamorous. I cannot reccomend these enough, I bought them 6 months ago, wear them almost every day and are still in brilliant condition.

Thanks for reading guys, if there's any further questions about these just comment, hope this has helped anyone looking into extensions! xoxo

P.S. Here's a few pictures of me sporting my Headkandy :-)
